Berkshire-based Romans Auctions is the latest company to join the Auction House UK regional network, taking the franchise’s total number of auction rooms to 27.
The licence agreement means the company will now be known as Auction House Berkshire, North Hants, South Bucks and South Oxon. It will also continue to trade under the name Romans Auctions.
Auction House founding director Roger Lake said the move would help further both company’s expansion pans.
“The key here is to ensure Romans doesn’t lose any of the customers its built up over the past 10 years while trading as Romans Auctions, but to add to the extra capability and clients that can come from their link-up and amalgamation with the Auction House brand.”
Romans director Simon Clayton said: “We’re very much looking forward to working with the Auction House network – we see it as a very valuable business relationship that will deliver mutual advantages, and will provide more opportunities for customers to enjoy the many benefits of sale by public auction.”
