Higgins Group have prelet their new 21,000-sq ft office scheme at 210 South Street, Romford, Essex, to record company Polygram UK at what they claim is a record rent for the town of almost £20 per sq ft.
Sited at the junction of South Street and Romford’s ring road, the four-storey building is valued at some £5m and has 52 parking spaces.
David Robins of Glenny, who advised the tenants with Sinclair Goldsmith, commented that: “The record rent reflected the relatively high demand for office space in Romford, its proximity to the M25 and the City of London and the almost total lack of higher-quality new office space in the town.” Fuller Peiser represented Polygram.
