Columbus Hotels has confirmed it is close to finalising £170m funding to roll out Columbus and Inn Coach brands across Europe and the US.
It plans to have at least four Inn Coach properties in the UK by this time next year. The first is likely to open in Newcastle, followed by Leeds, Gateshead, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
It expects to ultimately open 30-40 Inn Coach budget hotels in the UK.
