Rover Group is merging its sales and marketing activities with parent company BMW’s operations at a new site in Bracknell, Berkshire.
Staff will relocate from Warwick, in the west Midlands.
Rover unveiled a new generation Mini which will begin production at the end of the year at Longbridge. This is a separate £700m facility from the one that is awaiting a £1.5bn rebuilding programme subject to a favourable outcome from a European Commission investigation.
