Roxburgh & Company’s woes continued this week, with the departure of founding director Will Hean.
Agency and development director, Hean, has broken away from the Edinburgh-based consultant to set up development company, Castlehill Properties Scotland.
Roxburgh & Co shed its agency and management departments last week following lean years in these sectors and is currently restructuring.
Hean and Roxburgh & Co have been involved in some of Scotland’s most prestigious developments, including Castlemore’s 220,000 sq ft Waverley Gate scheme in Edinburgh and Lend Lease’s £150m Overgate shopping centre in Dundee.
Hean said: “I have been looking for some time to focus my energies purely on property development, where I feel my particular skills lie. I felt this was difficult within Roxburgh & Company.
“I will be looking to focus on off-market development opportunities working with a small number of clients.
“The company will also undertake development consultancy work with property owners and advise companies on development for their own occupation.”
