Royal Insurance and Sun Alliance, the composite insurers, yesterday unveiled plans to vacate 7,432 sq m (80,000 sq ft) of central London office space to help achieve annual savings of £175m after the groups’ merger this summer. Properties affected ar Royal’s asset management offices at Westgate House, Holborn, and its London insurance market operations in Lime Street and Sun Alliance’s property division in Covent Garden.
