Royal London Asset Management is aiming to boost the number of homes and shops in its proposals to redevelop Hurlingham Retail Park, SW6, while reducing its car parking space by 45%.
Consent has already been granted to turn the retail park into a residential-led, mixed-use scheme including some flexible retail and leisure floorspace.
Under amended plans, the number of homes at the retail park would increase to 269, adding 30 new homes to its previous proposals. These include 11 new affordable homes.
The amount of retail space by gross internal area would also increase by around 6.4%, to just under 34,890 sq ft.
It proposes to remove plans for basement car parking, trimming down the number of car parking spaces to 116 from 213, while providing 506 new cycle parking spaces.
Developer Londonnewcastle submitted the plans on behalf of Royal London.
The plans have been recommended for approval by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, subject to conditions.
Hammersmith & Fulham’s planning committee will vote on the application on 4 August.
