Wedlake Bell’s Marc Leyshon and Legacy Portfolio’s Susan Anton were the fastest male and female in the 10km LandAid Summer Run last week.
On a balmy summer’s evening, Leyshon completed the course in 34:22, while Anton finished in 42:41.
Over the 5km distance, BA Pensions’ Tim Greenland was fastest male (18:52), and Taylor Wessing’s Holly Grundon the fastest female (19:49).
Almost 500 people took part in the 10k and 5k events through Regent’s Park, followed by a well-earned picnic and, for some, a pint.
GVA, which sponsored the event, had the largest team of 44 runners. Chief executive Rob Bould said: “It’s been a great occasion. It’s good to see so many people and teams out here being active while raising funds for LandAid.”
LandAid chief executive Joanna Averley said: “The weather was looking wobbly at times, but the sun shone through just like the incredible support from everyone in the property industry taking part.”
LandAid hopes to raise between £35,000 and £40,000. The sponsorship deadline is 26 July.
