Flexible office company Runway East has chosen Birmingham for its first Midlands site.
It has taken around 20,000 sq ft at Arca in a 20-year joint venture with Oval Real Estate.
The former shopping centre site has been refurbished to offer grade-A office space for more than 400 members and will be targeted at start-ups and SMEs. This includes customisable office space for teams of up to 100 people, a roof terrace, breakout space, plus more than 15 meeting rooms.
The site is set to open this summer.
This will be the company’s 10th location. It has workspaces across London, Brighton and Bristol, with occupiers including Deliveroo, Matches Fashion and Grind.
