Welwyn Hatfield borough council has given the green light to Runwood Homes’s proposed residential development in Hertfordshire.
The scheme will redevelop the derelict former Clock Hotel site on Church Street into 50 new homes and 74 car parking spaces on one of the routes into the town centre.
It will comprise five blocks of two and three storeys. The majority of homes are one- and two-bedroom flats.
