Rupert Clarke has been appointed chief executive of the Hermes fund management business.
Clarke has been acting CEO since July following the resignation of Mark Anson who returned to the
Clarke joined Hermes to run the £11bn Real Estate funds business in January 2004 from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was managing director of the property advisor’s corporate finance business.
In June of this year he became a junior vice-president of the British Property Federation and is due to become president in 2009.
