Abercrave, Cardigan, Dolgellau, Llanfair, Caereinion and Rhyader, in rural Wales will each receive up to £90,000 each to establish job creation projects in sectors as diverse as crafts, tourism and sport.
Funding comes from the European Union-funded Market Towns Initiative.
