NewRiver REIT has appointed Colin Rutherford, audit committee chairman of pub and restaurant operator Mitchells & Butlers, as a non-executive director.
Rutherford is also chairman of developer Brookgate. He has board roles at Renaissance Services SAOG, an oil and gas shipping services firm, and Evofem Biosciences.
The REIT’s board is rounded off by Margaret Ford (non-executive chairman), Alastair Miller (senior independent non-executive director), Kay Chaldecott (independent non-executive director), Allan Lockhart (chief executive), Mark Davies (chief financial officer) and David Lockhart (executive deputy chairman).
