RX London has partnered with flex operator Re-Defined to launch Untethered, a managed office offering.
The new business has been launched to capitalise on demand from occupiers for flexible, all-inclusive workspaces.
“The market for fitted space has evolved hugely in the last few years and ‘Managed’ is the next step, offering outsized returns for those prepared to grasp the nettle” said Catherine Lloyd, partner at RX London. “This partnership is the result of a comprehensive process and sends a clear message to our clients that now is the time to embrace managed services. Managed is not something to fear, but a forward-thinking approach to meet market demand.”
The move is a response to a recent surge in demand for managed space in central London, as highlighted in the agent’s Survival of the Fitted report published earlier this year.
The report found average transactions for managed space have grown to 4,300 sq ft, with some reaching as much as 10,000 sq ft.
Oliver Meyers, partner at RE-DEFINED, said the new offering “puts the building and the occupier front and centre, enabling owners to respond rapidly to changing occupier requirements as demand for this product increases”.
