Sainsbury’s and Cineworld sign at Hinckley’s The Crescent

  Wilson Bowden Developments and Centenary Ashcroft have secured Sainsbury’s and Cineworld to anchor its £80m The Crescent in Hinckley, Leicestershire.   The 270,000 sq ft  mixed-use scheme will comprise shops, restaurants, a bowling alley, offices and car parking in addition to the supermarket and cinema.   A planning application for the scheme, designed by t p bennett + ENGLE, was submitted to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council in September.   Strutt & Parker and Lambert Smith Hampton advised the partnership; Croma Properties advised Sainsbury’s; Wareing & Partners advised Cineworld.   Wilson Bowden and Centenary Ashcroft are working on the scheme through the Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership.      To access all EGi news stories and commercial property data sign up for a free trial today, or visit the subscription options page to find out more.
