Sainsbury’s has completed a £38.5m sale-and-leaseback deal on its Tamworth freehold distribution depot, to BAe Systems Pension Scheme.
The Staffordshire site has been leased back for 30 years at a net initial yield of 5.5%.
The property is part of a portfolio managed for Sainsbury’s by investment management group Olim Limited.
Kitchen La Frenais Morgan acted for the purchaser, Cushman & Wakefield for the vendor.
