Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund has completed the acquisition of AEW Europe’s Sainsbury’s distribution centre in Dartford, Kent, for £80m.
Located off Canterbury Way, the 673,000 sq ft site comprises a number of distribution units, leased to Sainsbury’s until 2028.
RREEF, the real estate investment management business of Deutsche Bank’s asset management division, advised its Malaysian client on the deal. Dowley Turner Real Estate also advised, while Jones Lang LaSalle represented AEW Europe
