Sainsbury’s shops in Selly Oak

Takeover target Sainsbury’s has submitted plans for a £350m regeneration of a 32-acre site in Selly Oak, Birmingham. The supermarket chain plans to transform the Battery and Triangle sites into a mixed-use scheme, comprising 400,000 sq ft of offices, a 75,000 sq ft supermarket, 97,000 sq ft of shops, 20,000 sq ft of leisure, two hotels and more than 1,000 homes.
