Sainsbury’s has sold its pharmacy business to LloydsPharmacy for £125m.
The deal includes 277 in-store pharmacies and four located in hospitals. Sainsbury’s will receive rent payments from Lloyds for each location.
All branches will be rebranded as LloydsPharmacy and the deal is expected to complete by the end of February next year.
