Salmon Harvester plans Slough resi

Salmon Harvester Properties, the joint venture between Salmon Developments and NFU Mutual, has unveiled plans for its first major residential development, in Slough town centre.

The developer has submitted an outline planning application with Slough borough council for a 120-home scheme at its site in Stoke Road, which is near the mainline railway station and Slough town centre.

The scheme will comprise a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. The properties will be available for occupation in autumn 2014 subject to planning consent.

The site is currently occupied by Northgate House , a vacant office building.

Doug Stewart, chief executive at Salmon Harvester, said: “Given the current imbalance between supply and demand, we will look to develop this project out for the letting market as opposed to selling to owner-occupiers.”
