The owner of the UK’s oldest homeware brand, Salter, has renewed its 240,000 sq ft lease in Oldham.
Ultimate Products, which owns Salter and electrical goods brand Beldray, will pay £387,000 pa for Heron Mill, the company’s warehousing facility in Greater Manchester.
The property is owned by a vehicle controlled by Ultimate Products chief executive Simon Showman and president Barry Franks.
The lease is for a period of seven years, expiring on 13 April 2030.
Last week The Telegraph, at the height of the heatwave, decided Beldray’s snappily-named EH2658STK was the UK’s best desk fan.
