Samsung in partnership with DTZ Investors is favourite to buy One London Wall Place, EC2, for around £512m from Brookfield.
The sale follows the Brookfield’s purchase last year of Oxford Properties’ 50% leasehold stake in the pair’s £700m joint venture development of One and Two London Wall Place.
One London Wall Place is occupied by Schroders, which prelet the whole 310,000 sq ft block in 2014.
The City of London Corporation owns the freehold of the site.
