Sanctuary buys DevSec care village plot

Development Securities’ subsidiary Henry Davidson Developments has sold a 1.1-acre plot at its mixed-use scheme in Telford, Shropshire, for a care homes village.

Sanctuary Group has bought the land at the £36m Lawley Village scheme to develop an £8m, 60-home care village. Construction has already begun.

The new homes will sit within the nine-acre regeneration scheme, which comprises a 40,400 sq ft Morrisons store, 15,400 sq ft of retail units, 37 flats, and a 60 bed hotel and has outline planning consent.

DevSec said: “There is strong interest in all of the additional retail units which will be sold once fully let, and early interest in the residential element of the scheme which is now being marketed for sale.”
