Sanham to leave HUB

HUB’s managing director, Steve Sanham, is to leave the company in September to launch his own development company.

It is understood that Sanham’s new venture will focus on residential-led, mixed-use development, with community-led social impact initiatives at its core.

Sanham has worked at HUB for six years, initially as a development director and then as managing director. He will continue to work with the developer as a consultant.

Sanham said: “The past six years at HUB have been quite a journey, but it’s now time for me to take on a new challenge.

“Looking forward, I’ll be staying involved with some key HUB projects, as well as establishing a new property venture.”

HUB said it is currently recruiting a new development director and looking to bolster its development team, before replacing the managing director position.

Robert Sloss, chief executive of HUB, said: “We have an experienced and growing team that will continue to deliver HUB’s development programme, and we are actively seeking new opportunities. It’s been a pleasure working with Steve, and we look forward to working with him in a consultancy capacity.”

HUB has more than 3,000 homes completed or under development in the capital, with a pipeline including the Landing town centre regeneration in Maidenhead, Queen’s Quarter in Croydon,Wembley Link and Chesterfield House in Wembley and Abbey Place in Abbey Wood.
