Savills appoints new Aberdeen head

Savills-logo-THUMB.jpegSavills has appointed Simpson Buglass to head the firm’s Aberdeen office.

He will start his new role in January.

Buglass, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the Scottish property market, joined Savills from Graham & Sibbald where he was a partner in the commercial property team.

He also sits on the Council for Aberdeen and the Grampian Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the Property Network.

At Savills he will focus on commercial agency and professional work across Aberdeen and the surrounding area.

Mark Fleming, joint regional business head of Savills Scotland, said: “We are confident Simpson’s appointment in Aberdeen will provide the platform to help us to continue to expand both our client base and offer within the region.”

Savills’ former Aberdeen head, Ewan Berkeley, who has been advising Savills clients in the North East of Scotland for 35 years, will resume his role as head of office in Brechin, where he lives with his family.
