Savills bolsters valuation team with hire from Wells Fargo

Savills has expanded its portfolio valuation team in London with the appointment of Victoria Turner as director.

Turner comes from Wells Fargo Bank International, where she held the position of executive director in its commercial real estate underwriting team. Prior to this, she spent 18 years at Allsop, with a decade as a partner specialising in regular portfolio valuations for fund and property company clients, as well as loan security valuations.

The appointment comes in response to the new RICS valuer rotation requirements in the UK. Last year, RICS updated its Red Book UK National Supplement, introducing a compulsory rotation cycle for firms and valuers valuing an asset for regulated purposes.

Nick Harris, head of UK and cross border valuation at Savills, said: “Our portfolio valuation business is experiencing significant growth and Victoria’s expertise will contribute greatly to our ongoing success.”
