Savills has bolstered its global cross-border retail expertise by appointing Thea Rowe as associate director.
Rowe joins from Bruce Gillingham Pollard, where she spent more than 10 years working across leasing and tenant representation teams, collaborating with some of the UK’s most prominent landlords and leisure brands.
Based in Dubai, Rowe will enhance the Savills global retail team’s cross-border advisory capabilities in the Middle East, supporting new entrants and established brands in expanding their market presence.
Sam Foyle, co-head of prime global retail at Savills, said: “Thea will be an excellent addition to our cross-border retail team, as our capabilities and global presence go from strength to strength.
“We are constantly investing in our global retail teams, continuing to deliver a fully integrated and consistent service offering. The Middle East represents a key market for us, with Thea well positioned to drive forward our expertise there; brands are not only recognising the region’s phenomenal economic growth, but also its growing appeal as an international tourist destination.”
Rowe said: “The Middle East offers a fast-paced and vibrant retail environment, which more recently, has opened up to increasingly more international operators. Working at Savills, I’m excited to bring some new entrants into the market, as well as advising some of the local operators as they continue to flourish in this market.”
