Special servicer Capita Asset Services has appointed Savills to sell the City headquarters of law firm CMS Cameron McKenna, Mitre House, EC1.
The 196,000 sq ft office building at 160 Aldersgate Street is to be brought to market for around £70m.
Brookdale and Delek Real Estate lost control of the building following a major drop in value and the maturity of a loan securing it.
There is £107.2m of debt secured against the building which was valued in March last year at £70.8m, reflecting a 151% loan to value.
CMS Cameron McKenna’s lease on the entire building expires in September 2015.
It is currently under offer to move to 150,000 sq ft at Hines’ Cannon Place, EC4.
