Savills chief’s pay package tops £2m

Helsby-THUMB.jpegSavills’ group chief executive Jeremy Helsby received more than £2m in benefits on top of his £225,000 basic salary in 2014, according to the agent’s annual report.

The report showed that Helsby received more than £1.3m in cash as part of a profit share, up from £1.2m in 2013.

He also received £600,000 in deferred shares – 30% up on 2013’s £462,115.

In total Helsby’s, remuneration for 2014 climbed 14% on 2013’s £1.96m to £2.4m.

Chief financial officer Simon Shaw had a basic salary of £175,000 in 2014, which was flat on the previous year.

On top of this he received more than £1.5m in bonuses and pension contributions, taking his total remuneration for 2014 to £1.68m.
