Savills relocates Glasgow office

Savills is moving its Scottish team to Cadworks, located on Cadogan Street in Glasgow city centre.

The consultancy has signed a 10-year lease with landlord Fore Partnership for 10,000 sq ft of workspace. The Savills Glasgow team will use the new base to continue to offer a full range of property services across commercial, development and residential specialisms.

Savills will be relocating from its current 8,000 sq ft office space on West George Street in September this year.

Cadworks, spanning 94,431 sq ft of prime grade A office space, has BREEAM Excellent certification and is targeting an EPC rating of A. In addition, it features Scotland’s first cycle-in ramp, allowing cyclists to ride into the basement, which is equipped with 119 cycle stations and other facilities.

David Cobban, director for office agency and head of Savills Glasgow, said: “Our office space is a reflection of our business and the talent we want to attract and retain and this is therefore a move that reinforces our commitment to the city, as well as our expansion over recent years.”

Basil Demeroutis, managing partner at FORE Partnership, added: “Cadworks is our flagship Glasgow development and Savills arrival at the building, which is now almost fully let, is testament to the work we have done to create the city’s innovative, future-proofed workspace.”

FORE Partnership was advised by Avison Young.
