Savills expands prime lettings operations across the UK

Savills is to grow its lettings operations, covering the upper end of the rental market, with Stevie Walmesley appointed to lead the expansion.

Walmesley joins Savills from DDRE, having previously spent 10 years with Knight Frank, where she specialised in the very top-end of the London lettings market and, latterly, sat as part of the company’s private office.

In her new role, Walmesley will be tasked with expanding the business in the commuter belt and further across the country, capturing increasing demand for top-end rental properties.

The team will work closely with private office and sports, media and entertainment teams who provide tailored services across the full real estate spectrum in these sectors.

The move comes amid changing lifestyle priorities, relocation for work purposes, as well as requirements for pied-à-terres and weekend homes.

Isabella Birch Reynardson, head of super prime lettings at Savills, said: “The profile and needs of our clients continues to evolve and it is essential that we are able to service them through one specialist department.

“Through our expanded team, we are now a full-scale operation able to guide our clients through the entire letting journey wherever and whatever their rental requirements in the UK might be, delivering a bespoke and discrete service every time.”

Amelia Greene, head of UK lettings at Savills, added: “Our super prime lettings department continues to go from strength to strength and this expansion marks next chapter for our residential lettings business at Savills.”
