Savills has completed the acquisition of specialist adviser Automotive Property Consultancy as it looks to build up a new service line at a time of major change for the car industry.
The specialist property consultancy was established by Bill Bexson in 2005 and has built a client base including car dealerships, car manufacturers and financial institutions.
Its team of six will form a new automotive business line at Savills, which will provide agency, investment, valuation, consultancy and lease advisory services to clients across the UK.
Siân Tunney, Savills’ head of leisure and trade, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to establish a new service line that caters to the significant change within the automotive industry.
“Increasing EV ownership is impacting the use and development of property and, together, our combined resources will enable new and existing clients to benefit from this specialised expertise.”
Bexson said: “I am excited to give our clients access to greater opportunity and accelerate our work in the automotive industry with the weight of the Savills business behind us.”
