Savills hires leasing director from Appley

Savills has recruited Catherine Owen, formerly of real estate investment manager Appley, as a director on its central London leasing team.

Owen, who started her career at JLL, has worked on projects including the Shard, Canary Wharf, the Bower and the Pickle Factory.

Based in the agency’s City office at Finsbury Circus, she will work on existing and future office disposal instructions.

Owen said: “My most recent experience at Appley, combined with my previous role at JLL, will enable me to focus on real estate strategies that create the most value for clients.

“The global platform that has been boosted over the past few years at Savills, in particular access to a wider occupier base, provides an exciting opportunity to work with clients and implement successful leasing strategies.”

Philip Pearce, head of central London leasing at Savills, said: “Cat has an excellent track record in the central London office market and is well known to many of our existing clients.”
