Savills has appointed Great Portland Estates development manager Kat Norton to lead a new development management function.
It marks a return to the agency for Norton, who was previously an associate at Savills. She joined GPE in 2016, where she worked on projects including 160 Old Street and 50 Finsbury Square.
The new function, which sits alongside the commercial development team, forms part of Savills’ aim to cover “all aspects of the development journey”.
Richard Rees, managing director at Savills, said: “Development management is an exciting growth area for us. It is the missing piece in the jigsaw for our development business, and an opportunity to add meaningful value to clients.”
