Savills is to launch Workthere, which aims to help growing businesses find flexible, co-working and serviced office space across Europe, the US and Asia.
Workthere is a brokerage service and website listing platform, workthere.com, that combines technological experience with personal advice to offer a way for workspace providers to let their space and occupiers to find flexible working space that fits their needs.
The platform will service the entire flexible workspace market, including The Office Group, WeWork and London Executive Offices, as well as smaller providers and single schemes. It will also cover science and laboratory space available on flexible terms.
Mark Ridley, chief executive officer, Savills UK and Europe, said: “Workthere aims to advise any business on their workspace requirements, from an individual looking to acquire a co-working desk or a global business seeking project space or expansion to a new territory.”
Cal Lee, head of Workthere, added: “Over the past few years the UK in particular has witnessed considerable growth in the flexible work space sector. At the same time, demand for flexible work space continues to grow as more businesses, including start ups, SMEs and larger corporate companies, are seeing the benefits of flexible workspace over a more traditional lease.”
