Savills makes changes to residential leadership

Savills has promoted Andrew Perratt to head of residential and Lisa-Jane Kelly to head of London residential.

Perratt will take on the role from January next year, following a four-year stint as head of country residential. His new role will give him oversight of both the London and country markets.

He takes over from Justin Marking, who will concentrate on Savills’ international network of owned residential offices and associates across 25 countries, in his role as head of global residential. He will also continue in his role as chair of prime purchase.

Kelly will step up to head of London residential. Kelly joined Savills in 2018, and oversaw the integration of Currells into the Savills business.

The promotions follow the appointment of Jonathan Hewlett to chair of the Savills Private Office, following the death of David Forbes. From 1 January, he will step back from the day-to-day management of the London business, a role he has held since 2007, to focus on the growing network of high-net-worth clients and their advisers in London and across Savills’ wider UK and global network.

Commenting on the changes, Marking said: “I have worked closely with Jonathan, Andrew and Liza-Jane for many years and have been unfailingly impressed by their commitment to growing the Savills business, but most importantly, to very high levels of client service.”

He added: “We are in great shape. The changes we are announcing today are the result of our managed succession planning and demonstrate the strength and breadth of talent within our business. It is not in our DNA to stand still at Savills and I look forward to working with them in their new roles and to seeing new ideas and ambitions come to fruition over the coming months and years.”
