Savills has named the head of its Manchester office as its new head of national office agency.
James Evans has been with the firm since 2006, and will continue to lead the Manchester office alongside his new role.
He takes the national post from Jon Gardiner, who last week was named head of central London office leasing.
Evans said: “The regional office markets have been through a period of fundamental change over the past two years, as occupiers and landlords adjust to the impacts of the pandemic. With the office world returning to greater levels of activity it is a very exciting time to be a part of this market.”
Evans will head up a team that has a presence in 15 offices across the UK: London; Manchester; Birmingham; Bristol; Oxford; Cambridge; Bristol; Cardiff; Edinburgh; Glasgow; Aberdeen; Southampton; Ipswich; Chelmsford; and Peterborough.
