Savills development team in Oxford has acted on in excess of £46m of land sales during the first quarter of 2017
Patrick Eve, head of Oxford development, said the transactions represent confidence in the market.
“The referendum vote for Brexit undoubtedly caused a stir in the development land market last year, causing delays and renegotiations in some instances. Sales from the first quarter of this year, show evidence of recovery from this lag. New build houses in Oxfordshire are selling well and this is fuelling demand for new sites from house builders,” he said.
Savills acted on 426 plots, on seven sites in South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse, Aylesbury Vale District and Cheltenham Borough Council.
