Savills has brought on board two new directors to lead its West End office agency team.
Hunter Booth and Ed Betts will lead the team, taking over from Tracy Collins, who has been in the role for 12 years and will continue in a senior client-facing position.
Booth joins from JLL where he was a director in its West End agency team. He had been with JLL since 2006 and was based in the firm’s Hong Kong office for almost three years during 2011-2014.
Betts joins form Colliers International where he was a director in the company’s central London office agency team. He joined Colliers in 2014 when the company bought H2SO, where he had been a partner, and had previously worked at DTZ.
Mark Ridley, chief executive of Savills UK and Europe, said: “The West End market continues to beat market expectations and we are delighted to be joined by such highly regarded individuals. Tracy has done a fantastic job at building the existing team and I would like to thank him for this and his support in welcoming both Hunter and Ed to Savills.”
Paul Smith, director and co-head of London offices at Colliers International, said: “Having worked closely with Ed for the past 12 years, we are sorry to see him go, but proud of his achievements and wish him well.”
