Savills has revealed the catalogue for its next sale, to be held on 1 March.
The catalogue features over 200 lots across the UK, with a mix of residential, commercial and development opportunities.
Highlights include a four-storey industrial-style residential property positioned directly on the River Thames in Rotherhithe, south east London. 1 Fulford Street (pictured) was once owned by the barge company Braithwaite & Dean and was later the home of one of the Mitford sisters, Jessica and her husband Esmond Romilly (Winston Churchill’s nephew).
It has a guide price of £1.5m and is being offered to the market for the first time in 28 years.
Other London highlights include a freehold six-storey mixed-use investment property on City Road in Islington with a guide price of £20m; a derelict pavilion by Hillingdon Court Park in Uxbridge guided at £350,000; a commercial and development opportunity on Holloway Road guided at £1m; a detached property arranged as five self-contained flats in Bromley guided at £635,000; and a three-bedroom mid-terrace house in East Dulwich guided at £850,000.
Elsewhere in the country, a substantial student block in Derby has a guide price of £2.8m and lot covering a group of 15 student homes in Leicester has a guide price of £3.6m.
Savills head of auctions Robin Howeson said: “We are pleased to be releasing another robust catalogue so soon after our successful February sale which was a strong start to the year and raised over £45m, a 30% increase on the amount raised the previous February.”
The auction is the second of 14 planned sales to be held in 2023. The 1 March sale is the first of two sales to be held that month, with instructions still being taken for the second sale on 28 March.
