Savills teams up with Hamilton

Savills has formed an association with Dublin-based property adviser Hamilton Os-borne King.

The two companies will refer clients to one another, with Savills making use of Hamilton Osborne King’s four offices in Ireland. The association will operate on a commission-sharing basis.

Geoffrey van Cutsem, the managing director of Savills Land & Property, explained: “We have worked with Hamilton Osborne King on a number of joint instructions over many years. The agreement is in line with our strategy of forming links abroad in order to increase our international presence.”

Last month, Savills joined up with Hong-Kong-based First Pacific Davies as part of a drive to expand its Far East business.

Hamilton Osborne King’s managing director, Aidan O’Hagan, said: “With the increasing globalisation of the property market, our clients expect us to be able to offer an international dimension to our advice. This association will enable us both to better serve our clients, whether as vendors or purchasers.”

Savills will also have access to the Irish firm’s associate company in Northern Ireland, Osborne King Megran. It has two offices in the province.
