Savills has taken action after a London man registered an internet domain address featuring its name.
Nominet, the UK’s internet domain name dispute resolution service, has ordered that the disputed domain name “rent-savills.co.uk” be transferred to the real estate firm.
Nominet expert Stephen Bate agreed with Savills that Antonio Kesler’s registration of “rent-savills.co.uk” – which does not currently lead to an active website – was “abusive”.
No other details about the use of the domain name are included in the decision.
