US insurance company WR Berkley is nearing a deal to sell its Scalpel office tower in the City of London to Singaporean investor Ho Bee Land for £820m.
The building has been on the market since late 2020, and a deal at that price would represent a yield of a little under 4%.
A sale would be greeted as a welcome vote of confidence in London’s office market as workers return after the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
