Scarborough Group International has outlined plans for the next phase of Thorpe Park Leeds, Yorkshire.
The developer has an outline planning consent for 1m sq ft purpose-built industrial and logistics hub on a 60-acre site in east Leeds. At the heart of the masterplan, lodged to the local council two years ago, is Integral – a 596,500 sq ft purpose-build industrial and logistics hub.
Scarborough is now exploring opportunities to deliver up to 450 urban homes on the site in a move to create a residential community, offering a variety of options for modern city living.
Over the past decade, Scarborough has brought forward over 1.4m sq ft of business, retail and leisure space, including offices, Paradigm and Lumina, and the Springs retail and leisure centre.
Kevin McCabe, chairman and founder at Scarborough, said: “The transformation of Thorpe Park Leeds over recent years provides a foundation for future growth. As we prepare to accelerate delivery of the next phase, our focus is on creating high-quality workspace, homes and amenities that support the ambitions of Leeds as a city and deliver long-term benefits to businesses, residents and investors alike.”
