Andreas Schreurs, senior managing director of Hines, will leave the firm at the end of 2016 to spend more time with his family and take a career break.
Schreurs joined Hines in 2005 and the following year was in charge of structuring its pan-European core fund, which manages 14 assets with a total GAV of €700m (£609m).
Lars Huber, co-chief executive of Hines Europe, said: “Andreas has been a loyal and integral part of the Hines family for 12 years, and has played an important role in growing our European platform.
“He leaves the company with our wholehearted thanks and very best wishes for the future.”
Schreurs said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Hines and have been fortunate to work with a group of exceptional people who are second to none in the industry.
“I am looking forward to taking a break from my career after more than 30 years in the industry and spending some quality time with my family. I wish Hines continuing success in the future.”
From June: Hines takes Milan offices for €50m
