Schroder REIT NAV gains 3%

Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust’s net asset value increased by 3% in the three months to the end of September as its portfolio benefitted from capital value growth.

The company now boasts a NAV of £315.8m or 60.9p per share after the 2.4% capital value increase – equivalent to £7.6m.

Schroder delivered a quarterly return of 3.7% during the period, slightly outperforming its IPD peer group Quarterly Valuation of Balanced Monthly Indexed Funds, which delivered 3.4%.

The REIT reduced its void rate by 1.1 percentage points during the period to 8.1% at the end of September, with a further 1.2% reduction anticipated when a new lease to Premier Inn at the company’s Arndale House in Leeds completes.
