Schroders Capital has appointed Patrizia’s head of funds (capital markets) Allen Chilten to spearhead its efforts to raise capital for real estate funds, joint ventures and co-investment opportunities.
Chilten joins Schroders next week as global head of real estate capital formation.
The appointment comes as the firm continues to expand its direct real estate relationships with institutional investors across key regions, including Europe, North America, and Australasia.
Chilten will advise clients on Schroders Capital’s real estate investment solutions, leading its efforts to raise capital and its real estate teams responsible for global investor coverage and servicing, as well as programme development.
At Patrizia from 2018, Chilten led the global client solution team, overseeing co-mingled funds and segregated client mandates across real estate and infrastructure.
