Schroders names head of real estate debt

Asset manager Schroders has appointed Natalie Howard as its head of real estate debt.

Howard, a former partner at DRC Capital who previously worked at Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and Morgan Stanley, will build out the firm’s debt offering in the UK and Europe, covering loan origination, underwriting and asset management.

She will report to Sophie van Oosterom, Schroders’ new global head of real estate, who described her appointment as “a strategically important hire for us as we look to leverage our strong real estate expertise to provide a comprehensive service to our client base”.
