WEEKEND PAPERS: A lack of properties and a rise in house prices are boosting the build-to-rent sector in Scotland.
Developers have bought sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow, with the aim of providing some 2,000 homes by 2019, according to Rettie & Co.’s Built to Rent in Scotland Summer 2017 report.
The sector accounts for 27% of Edinburgh households and 21% in Dundee, Rettie senior researcher Andrew Meehan said.
