Scott Hammond and Martin Bellinger leave Essential Living

Chief operating officer Martin Bellinger and managing director Scott Hammond have left residential rental developer Essential Living.

The pair, along with chief executive Darryl Flay, have been with the London-focused company since it was started in 2012.

The company said in a statement: “Having recently opened Dressage Court in Bethnal Green and Vantage Point in Archway, and in anticipation of two further openings in the coming year, Essential Living has effected an internal re-organisation that will support its focus on serving its customers and providing the best possible living experience.

“The strategy of the company, supported by its main shareholder M3 Capital Partners, continues to be to one of growth backed by equity capital. The business continues to be led by Darryl Flay, who will now oversee the company’s acquisition programme to supplement its holdings in Swiss Cottage, Canary Wharf, north Acton and Brentford, with a view to expanding its customer offering across London over the long term.”
